Purpose and scope
SNCNW is a creative and informal Swedish forum dedicated to computer
communication, networking and cloud computing. SNCNW’s main objective
is to bring together researchers, practitioners, scientists, and
engineers within these areas to foster idea generation, innovation,
and collaboration, thereby strengthening these fields in Sweden. The
workshop provides a platform for research and development groups to
present their ongoing work to fellow experts in the field for
discussion.
The scope of SNCNW covers all technical aspects of computer networks,
cloud and edge computing, Internet-of-Things, distributed systems, and
their associated computing platforms and applications. Academic papers
should emphasize research advances, while industrial papers may focus
on practical implementation, deployment, and evaluation. A broad range
of submissions is welcome, including position papers, expressing ideas
and new research directions, and papers describing work-in-progress.
All submitted papers will undergo a formal review process. The goal is
to ensure that the program reflects ongoing national research and
development efforts and to provide constructive feedback to the
authors.
Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Artificial intelligence/machine learning in cloud/edge and networking
- Cloud and network management
- Network architectures, protocols, and algorithms
- Hardware design for computing and communication
